The Vulnerable Adult Protection Dashboard explains what happens after reports are made by the public or mandated reporters to the Minnesota Adult Abuse Reporting Center (MAARC) for an adult who is suspected to be vulnerable and abused, neglected, or exploited. The dashboard data includes: number of reports, agency receiving the referral that must respond, types of allegations, demographics for the adult and response of the responsible agency. You can download and print PDF copies of the data. The following PDF versions of the data are available:
The data source for this dashboard is the Department of Human Services data warehouse. The data is generated from a working database, thus numbers can change over time due to data cleanup and requirements for data destruction after three years. For more information or questions on the reports, email dhs.adultprotection@state.mn.us
This data report was supported, in part, by a grant No.90-EJSG0013 from the Administration for Community Living, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). Grantees carrying out projects under government sponsorship are encouraged to express freely their findings and conclusions. Therefore, points of view or opinions do not necessarily represent official Administration for Community Living or DHHS policy.
