Intensive Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (previously known as Youth ACT) are services provided by a multidisciplinary team directed toward recipients from age 8 through 20 with a serious mental illness or co-occurring mental illness and substance use disorder who require intensive services to prevent admission to an inpatient psychiatric hospital or placement in a residential treatment facility or who require intensive services to step down from inpatient or residential care to community-based care.
