MN2030 Status Check Documents
In 2017, MN2030 Looking Forward was borne out of the idea to recalibrate and rejuvenate the state of Minnesota’s priorities given shifting demographic changes in the state. The strategic planning effort was a joint project between the Minnesota Board on Aging (MBA) and the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS). A primary goal of MN2030 Looking Forward was to build and reinforce the state’s long-term services and support system (LTSS). This means pursuing opportunities to address disparities and reach currently unserved or underserved populations. This also includes, ensuring all Minnesotans have the tools to take charge of their health and make informed decisions. One component of MN2030 was a series of six policy briefs describing important topics related to the demographic shifts in the state. See the policy briefs below.
