The College of Direct Support (CDS) focuses on improving knowledge, promoting high-quality services and helping people with disabilities lead more self-directed lives.
The Person-Centered Counseling (PCC) program helps lead agencies, providers and their employees to build their knowledge and skills. It also gives people with disabilities and their families the information they need to lead more independent and self-directed lives.
The College of Employment Services (CES) offers courses designed for people who support people with disabilities as they find jobs and encounter challenges.
Certification opportunities
The Department of Human Services and the University of Minnesota have created DirectCourse learning modules that are available to help license-holders provide competency-based training for their staffs around 245D license training requirements.

TrainLink is the Department of Human Services partner and provider access point for the DHS learning management system. The TrainLink Website contains several learning centers as well as links to other DHS registration systems. Here you can find class schedules, online learning modules, and the training registration system. TrainLink keeps track of learner participation, including classes completed and certifications earned.

The Minnesota Age and Disabilities Odyssey Conference is a two-day conference held every other year. The conference has been held on either an annual or biennial basis since 1998 and generally attracts more than 1,000 attendees. Attendees are interested in long-term services and supports. They include advocates, consumers, policy makers, providers, counties, tribes, managed care organizations and state government. Odyssey:
