As the program review, training and policy coordinator, the incumbent designs and implements a comprehensive peer review program and statewide training strategy to advance the transition to American Society of Addition Medicine (ASAM) standards, ensure state and federal compliance, and improve the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of SUD treatment services. The role also provides clinical and policy guidance, collaborates on the implementation of ASAM 4th Edition standards, and represents the SUD Policy Unit in cross-sector forums to strengthen Minnesota?s SUD system.
