Renee Edwards

Hello! My name is Renee Edwards, I have been working with the Merit System since 2009.  I started working by doing data entry and scanning our applications when we had paper.  I worked with entering our applicant’s information into our database.  I also helped doing our Merit testing when we did them in person.  I enjoyed talking with the applicants on the phone and assisting them with how to fill out their applications and then assisted them with scheduling to take the written tests.  I then moved on to helping scoring the tests and putting the applicants on the eligibility lists. As time went on, I was taught how to do the requisitions, postings and sending out the registers to the counties.  The Merit system has been through a lot of changes as I have also.
