Find a doctor or other health care provider

Find doctors and other health care providers who accept Minnesota Health Care Programs (MHCP) coverage.

If you are a health plan member:

You must go to doctors, dentists and other providers who are in your health plan's network for most services.

• Your health plan's member services staff can help you find a provider.
• If you need to see a specialist, contact your health plan and ask if you need a referral before you go.

If you are not a health plan member:

You can go to any doctor, dentist or other provider who accepts MHCP fee-for-service coverage.

• You can find providers using the online MHCP Provider Directory. It lists providers who accept MHCP including Medical Assistance, Minnesota Family Planning Program and other programs.
