The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Employment and Training (SNAP E&T) program provides free employment and education training and support for people getting SNAP benefits. SNAP E&T participants will gain support, skills, training or experience to reach their career goals.
Many local organizations, including technical and community colleges, community based organizations, county agencies, tribes and CareerForce Centers provide SNAP E&T programs and services. Programs and services can include Career planning, Job search, Training for in-demand jobs, Student support, Financial support, and continued support once a participant has a good job.
