The Essential Community Supports program may be available to you if you need services to live in the community and meet certain eligibility rules. It is designed for people who do not need the level of care provided in a nursing home. You may qualify for up to $613 per month for services and supports.
Eligibility
You are eligible to receive services if you:
Are age 65 or older
Are not eligible for Medical Assistance
Are not eligible for nursing facility level of care
Need one or more of these services to live in the community.
You may not receive these services if you are able to have your needs met with personal care assistance.

You may receive one or more of the following services:
Adult day service
Caregiver training and education
Chore services
Community living assistance
Home-delivered meals
Homemaker services
Personal emergency response system
Service coordination / case management
