- Housing and Urban Development (HUD): Federal agency that works toward safe and sanitary housing by creating opportunities for home ownership, housing assistance for low-income persons, enforcing the nation's fair housing laws, helping local communities meet their development needs and protecting your rights as a consumer.
- Minnesota Housing: State agency that provides funds for a variety of housing needs throughout the state by working with banks and other lenders, community organizations, local housing or economic development authorities, cities, counties, and for-profit and nonprofit developers.
