Minnesota Working Group on Simplifying Supportive Housing Resources
The Working Group on Simplifying Supportive Housing Resources was established in 2025 under Minnesota Statute MN Session Laws 2024, Chapter 127, Article 51, Section 4. The working group collaborates to study supportive housing resources, streamline access, eligibility and administration of state-funded supportive housing resources, and provide recommendations to improve these processes. Particularly, the group will work to:
- Reduce administrative complexities;
- Enhance equity and accessibility, including coordinated entry;
- Streamline and simplify eligibility criteria, paperwork, and funding distribution; and
- Accelerate the transition of individuals from homelessness to sustainable long-term solutions.
The next meeting of this working group is set for Friday, Feb. 21, 2025, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. It will take place in room 2223 at the Elmer Andersen building, located at 540 Cedar Street in St. Paul. For help finding room 2223, see this map of the Elmer Andersen building's second floor.
