DHS and The Minnesota Board on Aging are seeking to provide Regional and Local Projects for Public Awareness, Education and Resources for Persons with Dementia and their Caregivers

DHS and The Minnesota Board on Aging are seeking to: (1) increase awareness of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, (2) promote the benefits of early identification, (3) increase the rate of cognitive testing, (4) connect individuals’ caregiving for persons with dementia to education and resources, and (5) increase the availability of respite for family, friends and neighbors caring for people with dementia and provide information, education, and training to respite caregivers and volunteers. Proposals may include one or more of these objectives.
