Effective Sept. 1, 2022, food benefits will be removed from EBT cards after nine months of not being used. Once removed, these benefits cannot be replaced.
Recipients can check their EBT card balances by calling EBT Edge Customer Service at 888-997-2227 or by visiting ebtEDGE.com. From the homepage, recipients can select “Cardholder Login” and then log in by using a valid user ID and password.
They can also check the balance from their mobile device by downloading the free ebtEDGE mobile app available at www.FISGLOBAL.COM/EBTEDGEMOBILE.
Program participants who have questions about this benefits change or need additional information can contact their case workers.
