As a veteran and a mother of two young children, being able to telework (working from home) has saved me commuting time, mileage and gas! It provides a work and life balance.

What would you tell a new employee or prospective candidate about a DHS job?

The health care benefits are good and the flexible work schedule is great for my family.

Do you have a specific or impactful memory while working at DHS?

My supervisor is helpful and resourceful by ensuring that I have the proper training and helps me develop my skills. It is good to be supported.

What are your hobbies/interests?

Baking and spending time with my family.
