Physician and Professional Services Resources and MN–ITS Training

At the end of the session, you will know how to:

• Navigate the MHCP provider webpages, including:
  • Health care programs, forms and resources
  • MHCP provider requirements
  • MHCP connection with managed care organizations (MCOs)
  • MHCP billing policy overview
  • Service authorizations

• How to use MN–ITS, including:
  • Manage your MN–ITS account
  • Access your mailboxes
  • Verify member eligibility
  • Submit professional claims (837P) for physician and professional services
  • Check claim status
  • Retrieve and read a remittance advice

Sessions are available on the following dates from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will include time for breaks and lunch. We will provide the same information on each of the following dates:

• Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2020 
• Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2020

Before you attend the training:

• Have your MN–ITS username and password to access your MN–ITS account for this training
• If you do not have a MN–ITS username and password, contact your organization’s MN–ITS administrator
• If you or your organization is not yet registered for MN–ITS, use your MN–ITS Registration letter to register and assign the delegated billing person a username and password before attending this training. Contact the MHCP Provider Call Center if you need a copy of your letter.

You will receive an email invitation about three days before your scheduled training date at the email address you enter during the registration process. Any materials you need will be available through the content link included with the webinar invitation. Click launch to open the materials.

Participants will:

• Connect to the webinar from their own computers and do not need special hardware or software
• Communicate with presenters and others in the audience using the chat feature available as part of the webinar session

Participants need the following to attend the webinar session:

• Internet access
• Speakers or a headset

Register online for the training session. There is no cost for this training. MHCP will remove it as a selection from the online registration system after a training session fills up. Registration closes three days before the training session date.
