SBCS Provider Training and MN–ITS Billing Lab

In this training, you will learn to:

• Minnesota Department of Education requirements (MDE), an MDE representative will present
• What are SBCS
• What services are covered
• About the enrollment process and eligible providers
• How to bill for SBCS
• How to use MN–ITS for the following:

• Manage your MN–ITS account
• Access your mailbox 
• Verify subscriber eligibility 
• Submit a direct data entry 837P professional claim for SBCS services
• Check claim status 
• Copy, replace or void claim
• Read your remittance advice

Sessions are available on the following dates from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. through a webinar. We will provide the same information on each of the following dates:

There is no cost for this training.

You must have your MN–ITS username and password to access your MN–ITS account for this training. If you do not have a MN–ITS username or password, contact your organization’s MN–ITS administrator. If your organization has not  registered for MN–ITS, use your MN–ITS registration letter to register and assign the delegated billing person a username and password before attending this training. Contact the MHCP Provider Resource Center if you need a copy of your letter.

We recommend you attend the Provider Basics Training before to enrolling in this session.

Participants will:

• Connect to the webinar from their own computers and do not need special computer hardware or software.
• Communicate with presenters and others in the audience using the chat feature available as part of the webinar session.
