Stakeholder Engagement for Intensive Mental Health Services Payment Policy and Rate Development

The Minnesota Department of Human Services’ (DHS) Behavioral Health Administration (BHA) has engaged Health Management Associates (HMA) to conduct a multi-phase review of current payment policies and rate methodology for adult intensive mental health services. The benefits include Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), Intensive Residential Treatment Services (IRTS), and Residential Crisis Services (RCS). DHS recognizes the important role providers and community partners play in delivering essential services and intends this work to inform thoughtful, collaborative discussions as part of this engagement.
