Apply for and manage social service licenses, funding opportunities and other available government programs in the Provider Hub.

What's in the Provider Hub

Today, the Provider Hub can be used for:

Certain social service licensing/certification — including for child care centers and Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention (EIDBI) agencies
Child Care Assistance Program provider registration management
Great Start Compensation Support Payment Program participation
Enrollment and attendance recordkeeping

The State of Minnesota continues to improve the online tool and build new features. As we do so, more providers will get access. Check out the following sections for more details — including which features are available to which providers.

Licensing/certification
As needed for your license/certification, use the Provider Hub to:
- Apply for a new license or certification
- Request changes to your license/certification information
- Request variances
- Submit information about caregivers/staff, including training and qualifications
- Get results of licensing visits and reviews, and respond to orders from your licensor
- Renew your license/certification and, as applicable, pay your renewal fee
- Add additional users from your business to help manage your license/certification
Availability:
- Licensed and certified child care centers are required to use the Provider Hub to apply for and manage their licenses/certifications.
- EIDBI agencies are required to use the Provider Hub to apply for their provisional license.
- Family child care providers are the next group to get access to the Provider Hub for licensing — review updates on the launch.

Child Care Assistance Program
- Apply to register with the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP)
- Renew your existing CCAP registration
- Report changes to your CCAP information
- Submit requests to activate or deactivate MEC² PRO users
- View your CCAP notices
Availability: Licensed and certified child care centers, family child care providers, legal nonlicensed child care providers and child care providers licensed by a Tribal Nation or other state have access to the CCAP feature in the Provider Hub.

Enrollment & Attendance
Record enrollment and attendance digitally for the children in your child care program, with three options:
- Use a kiosk for parents/trusted adults to check their children in and out
- Connect your current child care management system (CCMS) to the Provider Hub (per vendor availability)
- Upload your enrollment and attendance data in a .CSV file
Availability: Licensed and certified child care centers have access to Enrollment & Attendance in the Provider Hub. Beginning with an initial group of providers in June 2026, the Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) will require child care providers who are registered with the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) to make attendance records available using the Enrollment & Attendance feature in the Provider Hub. Child care providers will receive at least 90 days’ notice before the date they'll be required to begin submitting their attendance records electronically.

Great Start Compensation Support Payment Program
- Complete your monthly application
- Complete your annual Use of Funds Report
- Set up direct deposit for your Great Start Compensation (GSC) payments
- Access your GSC payment history
- Submit a technical assistance request to the GSC team
Availability: Licensed and certified child care centers use the Provider Hub to participate in the Great Start Compensation program. Family child care providers will get access to this feature after family child care licensing launches in the Provider Hub. .

Provider Hub release notes share recent improvements to the online tool with users. The State of Minnesota typically releases improvements to the Provider Hub each week and publishes release notes at the end of the month.

Release notes are emailed to Provider Hub users with Delegated Authority access.

A local support team responds to cases Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
