DHS is seeking to provide acute care hospital inpatient treatment for mental illness under the fee-for-service continuing care benefit program.

DHS through its Behavioral Health Division, has authority to enter into contracts to provide acute care hospital inpatient treatment for mental illness under the fee-for-service continuing care benefit program.

The term of any resulting contract is anticipated to be from April 1, 2024 until March 31, 2029.  Applications after April 1, 2024 will result in a contract period shorter than 5 years, with expiration on March 31, 2029.
