Training

The Minnesota Department of Human Services, in partnership with the University of Minnesota and Elsevier, provides access to free training courses for people with disabilities and their families through DirectCourse:

  • The College of Direct Support (CDS) focuses on improving knowledge, promoting high-quality services and helping people with disabilities lead more self-directed lives.
  • The Person-Centered Counseling (PCC) program helps lead agencies, providers and their employees to build their knowledge and skills. It also gives people with disabilities and their families the information they need to lead more independent and self-directed lives.
  • The College of Employment Services (CES) offers courses designed for people who support people with disabilities as they find jobs and encounter challenges.

For more information about the courses offered through DirectCourse, email Minnesota’s DirectCourse learning administrator.
