Minnesota Working Group on Simplifying Supportive Housing Resources
The Working Group on Simplifying Supportive Housing Resources was established in 2025 under Minnesota Statute MN Session Laws 2024, Chapter 127, Article 51, Section 4. The working group collaborates to study supportive housing resources, streamline access, eligibility and administration of state-funded supportive housing resources, and provide recommendations to improve these processes. Particularly, the group will work to:
- Reduce administrative complexities;
- Enhance equity and accessibility, including coordinated entry;
- Streamline and simplify eligibility criteria, paperwork, and funding distribution; and
- Accelerate the transition of individuals from homelessness to sustainable long-term solutions.
This webpage will be updated as the working group sets further meetings and develops relevant documents. For more information, contact DHS Housing and Homeless Policy Lead Maia Uhrich at maia.uhrich@state.mn.us.
